Goal Keeper Training

NEU Goal Keeper Training will begin this Thursday (9/13) evening, weather permitting.  This Fall we will hold training from 6PM to 7PM at the Lion's Club Fields in Mansfield.  We will be on the upper fields at Lion's.  Please bring a soccer ball and water bottle with you to each training session.

As always, please check the website before you leave for the fields.  If we cancel we will post it as soon as we know.  Once we have collected email addresses from attendees we will email everyone as well.  As we expect thunder storms this Thursday, there is a possibility of cancellation so please check before leaving.

Looking forward to seeing you there...

1999-2000 Boys are State Cup Champions!

Congratulations to Greg DeVito's 1999-2000 boys team who won the CJSA B19 State Cup Championship! The game was 1-0 at the half as the result of a Chase Young goal. With the score tied 1-1 in the waning moments, Leo Melchor served up a corner kick that went in amidst the chaos in the box.  Congratulations to the coaching staff and all of the boys for playing your hearts out in a solid team effort!  You are the Champions!

NEU 2001 Girls Memorial Day Champions

NEU 2001 Girls are GPS Champions!

Going undefeated over 5 games this weekend the girls won their group and the GPS Tournament Championship. A late goal by Eva Riggott and a stunning shutout performance by the NEU back line and goal keeper Rachel Hughes resulted in a 1-0 win in the finals. The girls scored 14 goals while allowing only 5, including shutouts in the semis and the finals.  Congratulations to all the girls for showing the rest of New England the power of NEU soccer!
